Meet mitchell
Mitchell Walker is a New York City-based director, producer, educator, and record producer whose work lives at the intersection of storytelling, music, and bold theatrical imagination. With a career spanning professional theatre, higher education, and the recording industry, Mitchell has built a reputation for creating productions that are visually striking, emotionally honest, and deeply connected to the music that drives them.
As an Assistant Professor and Head of Musical Theatre at Five Towns College, Mitchell transformed and expanded the program, doubling enrollment and leading the successful transition to a fully accredited BFA in Musical Theatre. Alongside his academic work, he has directed productions throughout New York, developed original musicals, created solo shows for Broadway performers, and co-founded No Reverse Records, producing Billboard-charting recordings for stage artists and new musical works.
Whether in a rehearsal room, recording studio, or classroom, Mitchell is passionate about developing artists who are fearless, collaborative, and authentic. His work is defined by a commitment to excellence, innovation, and telling stories that resonate with modern audiences while honoring the craft and history of musical theatre.
